If you are joining, please bring flowers, foliage, and ti-leaves. If you are planning to string a lei, please bring a lei needle or a similar alternative.

Just a friendly reminder, there is NO SCHOOL Thursday, March 26, 2026 - Kuhio Day Holiday and Friday, March 27, 2026 - Waiver Day.

School Bus applications for Quarter 4 will open on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 8:00am.
Registration window will be open from March 2 to March 27
Applications submitted after the deadline, unpaid applications, or applications not reviewed by the school will be automatically denied.

Aloha Kilohana Elementary School Families and Staff,

We are pleased to announce that all Molokai schools—including Kilohana Elementary School—will officially reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25.
With the safety of our keiki and community in mind, we ask that you drive with extra caution island-wide and remain vigilant at designated bus pick-up zones, as road closures or lingering flood damage may still impact certain areas. Please continue to monitor local media, the official school website, and Hawaii DOE channels for any final updates regarding Wednesday’s schedule.

No 21st Century Afterschool Program next week. Program will resume when student return from break.

Aloha Kilohana Elementary School Families and Staff,

Due to flooding and impassable roads, all Molokaʻi schools—including Kilohana Elementary—will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24. All after-school programs will be cancelled. Once the rain subsides, we must assess campus safety and verify water quality before reopening.

Please monitor local media, the school website, or official DOE channels for updates regarding Wednesday’s schedule. Mahalo for your patience and stay safe!

Following Gov. Josh Green’s announcement on Thursday, March 12, regarding severe weather conditions impacting the state, and in alignment with his directive, the Hawaiʻi State Department of Education will implement the closure of HIDOE schools and offices on Oʻahu, Kauaʻi and in Maui County on Friday, March 13, due to current storm conditions.
