Just a friendly reminder, there is NO SCHOOL Thursday, March 26, 2026 - Kuhio Day Holiday and Friday, March 27, 2026 - Waiver Day.

Aloha Kilohana Elementary School Families and Staff,

We are pleased to announce that all Molokai schools—including Kilohana Elementary School—will officially reopen tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25.
With the safety of our keiki and community in mind, we ask that you drive with extra caution island-wide and remain vigilant at designated bus pick-up zones, as road closures or lingering flood damage may still impact certain areas. Please continue to monitor local media, the official school website, and Hawaii DOE channels for any final updates regarding Wednesday’s schedule.

Due to flooding and impassable roads, all Molokaʻi schools—including Kilohana Elementary—will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24. All after-school programs will be cancelled. Once the rain subsides, we must assess campus safety and verify water quality before reopening.
