Quarter 2 Bus Application Window

School bus application window opens on Monday, September 14 - Monday, October 12 for Quarter 2.

All school bus riders must complete a bus application every quarter.

Please complete your child's bus application via online or pick up your application at the school's office. Paid riders payments are also due by Monday, October 12th.

Kilohana School Annual Safety Day 9/18/2026

Safety Day is a day where Kilohana School practices all of the emergency safety procedures and evacuation plan.

We encourage students to wear their RED Kilohana Uniform Shirt, proper footwear, and bring a bottle of water/flask with them.

It is the Hawaii State Department of Education's (Department) goal to ensure equity, empowerment, and excellence in education for all students. Thus, we acknowledge our students' voice as they are stakeholders in our efforts to enhance teacher practice and improve the overall school climate. Your child's perspective is highly valued. students this school year.
To learn more about student experiences, all students in grades 3-12 will be invited to participate in two different surveys.
1. Panorama Student Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Survey
2. Panorama Student Perception Survey (SPS)

Maui Tumblers is coming to Kilohana! 🎉

Maui Tumblers is excited to bring our mobile gymnastics and movement program to Kilohana Elementary! Classes are held right on campus after school, making it easy and convenient for families.

Students will build strength, coordination, balance, confidence, and gymnastics skills through fun, age-appropriate activities using Maui Tumblers’ specialized gymnastics equipment.

Classes begin: Wednesday, September 2, 2026
Class time(s): Grades K-2nd 2:10-3:00 pm, Grades 3rd-6th 3:10-4:00 pm

Kilohana Elementary School has over a hundred worn out books that need to be replaced.
We need your help.
Help your community by making a donation at the school office or through Venmo. Please label Venmo donations "KIL Book Fund." Books help nourish children's minds. Your generosity will make a big difference in the lives of our Kilohana keiki.
Canʻt donate, no problem! By helping spread the word for kokua is even a bigger help. Please share with your community, family, and friends.

Please review and return completed forms to school with your child if you haven't already done so. If you haven't received your packet or are missing forms, please contact the school office.

Ka Molokai Makahiki 2027 Student Waiver

Please complete the Ka Molokai Makahiki student participant waiver for your child. We ask that all students (K-6) complete a waiver regardless of whether they are selected as a champion. There have been many instances where students were asked to participate in events at last minute.
